How to make an End Table and Computer Stand from Baltic Birch Plywood & Framing Lumber from Home Depot.
My youngest daughter is 12, and she spent the last year and a half helping me build my dream shop in our back yard. She absolutely loves woodworking, and is quite knowledgeable. I told her I wanted to make an end table that could function as a computer stand to hold our media computer, (the one hooked to our tv). And she said she wanted to build it for me.
I cut all of the big pieces on the table saw, and she pretty much did the rest.
I thought this would be a nice project to video and put up on youtube.
The table was built with a table saw, miter saw, and handheld power tools. Mostly a drill, a sander and a router. A Kreg jig was used for the pocket holes.
The nice thing about this project though is that anyone can build it with a bare minimum of tools.
