I was contacted by a viewer on YouTube, who asked if I could build him a Pool Cue Display Case. He is a collector of some very beautiful cues.
I thought that this would be a great opportunity for illustrating some specific woodworking techniques. In this video, I will show how to do dado & rabbet joinery, integrated French cleats, and glass front doors built with the rail & stile method. (also called cope & stick).
This pool cue display construction in general is applicable to many projects that the woodworker might undertake, such as any small display case with a door, whether it hangs on a wall or not, and shadow box construction.
